Radius Users

Radius Users are used to configure connectivity accounts

You can access the Add/Edit/Delete functionality via a right click on the grid.

When editing the Radius User (Admin Editor)

  • Username
    • The username which will be used to authenticate the user
  • Radius Realm
    • This defines to which Radius Realm the user will be linked to
  • Radius Profile
    • This defines to which Radius Profile the user will be linked to
  • Password
    • This defines the password to authenticate the user
  • IP Address
    • This defines the IP for the PPPOE (ip unnumbered)
  • Current IP Address
    • This is the current IP after the user connected
  • Active
    • This defines if the user will be able to authenticate
  • Cap Status
    • This will show the user’s current Cap Status
      • none – Normal
      • fup – Fair Usage Policy Applied
      • hard – User cannot authenticate and must topup
  • Memo
    • This is a memo which is only visible to the admin
  • System User
    • This defines to which System User the account will be linked
  • Payment Method & Payment Gateway
    • This defines which payment method to use

Configuring IP Addresses for the User

  • You can configure multiple IP Addresses for the user. They will be routed to the IP UnNumbered address for the user

Creating a new IP Address Reservation for the User

  • IP Address
    • When you leave the ‘%’ the system will allocate the first available IP Address depending on the Mask
    • If you specify a specific IP Address the system will verify that the IP Address / Network is available
  • Mask
    • You can select any IP Address Mask which is available

When editing the Radius User (Normal Editor)

  • Username
    • The username which will be used to authenticate the user
  • Radius Profile
    • This defines to which Radius Profile the user will be linked to
  • Password
    • This defines the password to authenticate the user
  • Current IP Address
    • This is the current IP after the user connected
  • Payment Method & Payment Gateway
    • This defines which payment method to use

 

 

Under the Notification Tab

  • The user can select to which notifications they want to subscribe
